- Leadership: 30%
- Leads strategic planning to ensure future demands are met
- Provides strategic vision and guidance to the location
- Maintains a culture of continuous improvement and high associate engagement
- Frequent visits to the shop floor to connect with reality and model leadership
- Engages the team to continuously improve quality, production, and cost performance
- Production Management: 30%
- Led production planning for the Inspection Center
- Ensures adequate capacity to meet production targets
- Oversees weekly performance review meetings and reports on performance
- Identifies and prioritizes problems, allocates resources, and resolves issues
- Ensures compliance with operating standards and guidelines
- Ensures compliance with health and safety and loss prevention guidelines
- People Management: 30%
- Participates in the selection and hiring process
- Maintains a bench of candidates for leadership positions
- Ensures progression path training and certification processes are executed
- Models effective teamwork and ensures it's embraced at all levels
- Provides competency-based feedback and ensures leaders provide appropriate feedback
- Mentors reconditioning managers
- Continuous Improvement: 10%
- Selects continuous improvement events and holds team accountable for results
- Participates and leads continuous improvement efforts
- Trains and mentors reconditioning managers on problem-solving
- Minimum of 8 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing environments
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Proven track record of leading and developing associates
- Ability to obtain project deliverables and company metrics
- Flexible work schedule and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Strong analysis and decision-making ability
- Proficient computer skills
