General Manager - Luxury Community

About the Role

The General Manager functions as the primary strategic business leader of the property, taking ownership of all property-related matters, including financial performance, sales, revenue generation, and delivering a return on investment to ownership. This role is responsible for cultivating a culture of excellence in service, exceeding guest and associate expectations, and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Champion Sentral standards, best practices, policies, and procedures, ensuring excellent customer service
• Provide inspirational leadership, motivating the team to achieve operational excellence
• Develop and implement property-wide strategies, including scaling the home share program
• Employ cost-control and revenue improvement programs
• Create and manage annual operating budgets and sales and marketing plans
• Build relationships with residents, guests, and business partners
• Analyze operational data, identify trends, and recommend strategies to maximize net operating income (NOI)
• Manage leasing goals, lease expiration programs, and resident retention initiatives
• Oversee property condition, maintenance, and preventative maintenance programs
• Ensure compliance with company standards, regulations, and safety rules

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; some college preferred
• A minimum of three years of experience in luxury residential property management or hotels
• Proven leadership experience
• Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in PMS software, MS Office, and related communication tools

This is an in-person position located on-site at the property. The role requires the ability to work in indoor and outdoor spaces, move throughout the property, transport boxes and equipment weighing up to 20 pounds, communicate effectively, and observe details in surrounding areas and on a screen.
