Our wage range is a realistic representation of the overall earnings opportunity when joining the Vireo Health of Rocky Mountain team, which includes prominent banners such as Star Buds, LivWell, and EveryDay Weed. What the role is about: As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our dispensary operations. Your leadership and strategic direction will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing inventory management, achieving sales goals, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team. Your collaborative spirit will be essential as you work closely with individuals across the company to achieve common goals. What impact you’ll make: Operational Leadership (40%) Provide strategic direction and leadership to the dispensary teamEnsure daily operations exceed performance metrics and customer expectationsOversee product merchandising and ensure an attractive and organized store layoutDevelop and implement staff schedules to meet business needs and ensure excellent customer serviceMonitor and improve supply chain logistics to optimize product availability and reduce stockouts Compliance Management (30%) Ensure strict adherence to all state and local cannabis regulationsDevelop and maintain robust compliance protocols, including record-keepingCoordinate and oversee internal and external audits, implementing corrective actions as neededStay updated on evolving cannabis laws and ensure staff compliance with changes Team Development and Financial Management (30%) Train and mentor staff to cultivate a culture of professionalism and expertiseConduct regular performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback for growthImplement training programs to keep staff informed about products and regulationsFoster a motivated, high-performance team focused on customer satisfactionDevelop and manage the dispensary's budget, analyzing revenue and expenseMonitor and report on key financial performance indicators Please note that the percentage allocations are a general estimate and may vary based on business needs and priorities. Additional duties may be required as needed to support overall operations. What you’ve accomplished: A bachelor's degree in business or a related fieldA minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail management positionProven experience in retail management, preferably in the cannabis industryMust be at least 21 years of ageDemonstrated skills in people management and developmentStrong customer service expertise, including supervising retail associates and experience in handling invoices and cashPossess professionalism, punctuality, trustworthiness, and excellent interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency with various business technologies, hardware, and software, including HR systems for timesheet management, time clocks, POS systems, and the Microsoft Office suite, is expected Working Conditions (Schedule, Environment, Travel) Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more multiple times per dayStores are open 7 days a week from 8:00 am – 11:45 pm (varying by location), nights, weekends & holidaysThe schedule will vary depending on the needs of the businessAbility to obtain and maintain an active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge in the state of Colorado Why Choose Vireo?
