About the role

The General Manager at JOEY Restaurants will lead a multi-million-dollar establishment, focusing on team development, service excellence, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Foster a cohesive and collaborative team environment through exemplary leadership.
• Provide guests with friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience.
• Show guests what Iconic Hospitality means by resolving service issues and guest complaints with a sense of urgency, poise, and good judgment.
• Afford support in managing store sales, budgets, cost of goods, and labor.
• Supervise and guide service and experience standards, providing impactful coaching as needed.
• Build sales opportunities and positive guest experiences.
• Support with recruitment needs, enhancing positive candidate experience and selection, and team retention.
• Communicate daily focus and feedback to service and kitchen teams.
• Follow all food and alcohol service and handling safety precautions and procedures.

Requirements

• 1-3+ years of leadership experience (or high potential with less experience).
• Valid local and/or state Food Handler and California Responsible Beverage Service certifications.
• Possess a passion for hospitality and a proven track record of creating world-class hospitality experiences.
• Thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
