General Manager in Training
About the role
The ideal candidate for this position should have previous General Manager experience or equivalent experience in a similar role. A background in quick service restaurants is strongly preferred, or relevant experience in hospitality or retail.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects within the restaurant, including profit, food production, scheduling, guest experience, and direct crew and manager responsibilities.
- Proactively lead and manage People processes including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, training, coaching, and motivating.
- Plan for and make critical business decisions around inventory, budgets, and food ordering/costs.
- Ensure food safety measures are set and achieved to McDonald’s standards of excellence.
- Maintain high levels of safety for both guests and employees.
- Oversee all operational needs of the restaurant, including maintenance plans to meet and exceed standards of excellence.
Requirements
You must be 18 years or older for this position. If you do not have previous General Manager experience, we encourage you to apply for the Department Manager, Shift Leader, Maintenance, or Crew positions instead.
