General Manager in Training

About the role

The General Manager role is vital to the operations within the restaurant. You'll lead the experience, plan for success, be in the know, take action first, inspire and empower, and be results oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects within the restaurant, including profit, food production, scheduling, guest experience, and direct crew and manager responsibilities.
• Proactively lead and manage all People processes including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, training, coaching, and motivating.
• Plan for and make critical business decisions around inventory, budgets, and food ordering/costs.
• Ensure food safety measures are set and achieved to McDonald’s standards of excellence.
• Maintain high levels of standard for guest and employee safety.
• Oversee all operational needs of the restaurant, including maintenance plans to meet and exceed standards of excellence.

Requirements

Previous General Manager experience is required, or a strong background in quick service restaurants or hospitality/re retail. Must be 18 years or older.

Commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace, strong customer service and support focus, effective communication skills, and the ability to anticipate and solve customer needs.
