About the role
The role oversees and coordinates the operations of a contract security services company branch to optimize efficiency and profitability. Key responsibilities include setting branch policies, managing departmental activities, ensuring client satisfaction, and developing new markets.
Responsibilities
- Plans, develops, and implements branch policies and goals.
- Calls for operational efficiency and economy by coordinating activities of departments like operations, sales, and administration.
- Led in meeting client needs by regularly interacting with clients, offering security and technical expertise, and providing solutions.
- Ensures complete customer satisfaction by coordinating all operating activities with other organizational functions.
- Develops and manages the branch annual budget and monitors the monthly P&L, identifying areas for cost reduction.
- Promotes the organization in industry meetings and attends trade associations.
- Manages security operations business plans, including labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image.
- Coordinates new contract start-ups, including personnel, material, training, facility, and equipment needs.
- Reviews service and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, service, and maintenance problems.
- Manages 3-5 subordinate Operations Managers who supervise a total of 200-700 employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
- Five to seven years related experience and/or training.
- CPP certification preferred.
- Valid state driver's license.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Knowledge of Contact Management systems, Internet programs, Inventory software, Payroll systems, and intermediate to advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) software skills.
