General Manager

About the Role

General Managers are an integral part of each Nuvia center, working with administrative, clinical, and sales team members to ensure the success of the center. They optimize the patient schedule to align with production goals, ensure patients are treated efficiently, and provide exceptional treatment experiences through excellent communication and expectation management. General Managers coordinate medical clearances, manage administrative teams and Dental Assistants, and enforce policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive a productive and efficient schedule.
• Work with the clinical team to ensure patients are cleared for surgery.
• Ensure Nuvia’s best practices are in place.
• Administer and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Work closely with clinical providers to communicate company objectives.
• Serve as a point of contact between centralized operations and the center.
• Ensure compliance in the center based on OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
• Facilitate training for center staff on new best practices.
• Schedule patients to optimize efficiency and production.
• Work with Nuvia providers and external clinical offices to ensure timely medical clearances for surgical procedures.
• Ensure accuracy of documentation in Nuvia’s operating system to track patient surgeries, outstanding balances, and medical documentation.
• Perform daily huddles and inspections to facilitate alignment and maintenance of the center.
• Collaborate with other departments (Compliance, Provider Success, Sales, Payroll, Facility Support, Patient Experience) to ensure operational excellence and alignment.
• Leverage managerial skills to troubleshoot and resolve daily situations that could negatively impact patients, the team, or Nuvia.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of management experience in the dental field.
• Familiarity with OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards.
• Experience with OpenDental management software preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a training facilitator.

Pay

Base pay: $70,000 - $80,000 per year.

Monthly performance bonuses: up to $4,000 (averaging $48,000 per year).

Quarterly bonuses: up to $2,000 (averaging $8,000 per year).

Total potential earnings: $65,000 - $131,000 per year.
