General Manager

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This is a significant role requiring strong leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Works with the leader to set restaurant goals and create a plan to achieve them.
• Leads a team of Department Managers, setting their goals, monitoring progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve their departments.
• Might be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team for future growth.

Requirements

• Previous General Manager experience running high-volume locations is preferred.
• A background in quick-service restaurants or hospitality/re retail is beneficial.
• Must be 18 years or older to manage in corporate-owned restaurants.
