General Manager
The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of Department Managers with specific responsibilities in the restaurant
- Helping Department Managers set their own goals, follow up on their progress, and provide coaching and direction to improve their Departments and the restaurant overall
- Hiring, training, and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future
Requirements
To meet restaurant goals, the General Manager works with a team of Department Managers. Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high volume locations. A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. Candidates must be 18 years or older.
