General Manager

About the role

As the General Manager at a Krispy Kreme retail location, you lead all aspects of doughnut production, sales, and human resources. You develop a professional staff, drive maximum revenue, and ensure both customer and employee satisfaction while maintaining the brand’s high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a role model for customer-first behaviors aligned with company standards.
• Build and coach a team of customer-focused employees through performance management.
• Ensure all products meet Krispy Kreme quality standards and guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Maintain store physical property in good working condition.
• Direct and manage store sales efforts, including Hot Light times, retail sales, fundraising, and suggestive selling.
• Achieve business plan objectives and profitability according to the store operating plan and financial goals.
• Promote store safety and sanitation; handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a QSR or retail environment in a management capacity.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work all necessary schedules, including holidays and weekends.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to fostering an equitable, unbiased culture where employees can be their authentic selves.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Physical demands and working conditions

• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Exposure to fluctuating temperatures and noise levels in a shop environment.
• Exposure to known allergens, including nuts.
• Adherence to applicable dress code and production-area noise standards.
