Responsibilities
- Provide superior guest service, positively affect interactions with guests and employees, and have the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions.
- Work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
- Maintain, repair, and replace gaming table layouts with instructions provided by a supervisor.
- Identify and diagnose deficiencies with the HVAC system, alarm system, and generators, and take measures to correct deficiencies.
- Perform mid-level to advanced level painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other projects relating to maintenance of the property.
- Create preventative maintenance schedules and follow such schedules.
- Absorb and dispose of any cups, glasses, bottles, or other items left on the floor by guests.
- Ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
- Work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts and work locations may change.
- Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Proficient in English verbal and written.
- Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license.
- Must possess valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- A certification in a trade school or 4-6 years’ experience in facilities maintenance of which may include 2+ years at level of Maintenance Technician I and II or a combination of education/experience.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to push and pull up to 250 pounds.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds, and up to 250 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively.
- Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment.
- Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period.
- Ability to work from a standing or sitting position and/or walking motion for extended period.
- Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment.
