General Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained
• Troubleshoot power
• Maintain general & preventative maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems
• Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts/drivers as needed
• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested

Required Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• 2-4 years experience required
• Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time
• Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
