General Maintenance Multi-Certified

Responsibilities

• Responsible for general maintenance including troubleshooting, repairing, and performing Preventive Maintenance (PM) on plant equipment.
• Responsible for maintenance and repair of failed systems and equipment, including sprinkler systems, dock doors, dock leveling plates, building electrical, HVAC, building structure, and all production equipment and lift trucks.
• Ensures successful completion of repairs and conducts effective root cause analysis to mitigate repeat issues.
• Completes scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) of equipment to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Fulfills safety guidelines and procedures established at the facility, wears appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and promotes a safe working environment.
• Works independently to complete assigned tasks, follows up on equipment issues, and reports findings to Maintenance Lead and Plant Leadership.
• Conducts Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on all equipment failures to prevent future occurrences.
• Performs all Maintenance and Equipment repairs, troubleshoots equipment and systems, maintains equipment condition, and ensures that maintenance solutions comply with company policies and regulations.
