Maintenance General

Company: Trace‑A‑Matic – Brookfield, WI. Full‑time Maintenance General Labor (6 am–3:30 pm, M‑F).

About the role

Provides support to the maintenance team to increase runtime of the facility and assists with building and grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day production requirements to keep machinery running and producing parts.
• Work safely to keep yourself and the team incident‑free.
• Manage and organize inventories of oils, coolants and other MRO items.
• Clean machines, coolant tanks and other equipment.
• Change filters on air filtration and HVAC units.
• Perform or assist with weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance tasks and routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Maintain forklifts, vehicles and floor scrubbers, including monthly PMs.
• Prepare, maintain, and operate floor scrubber to clean plant floors.
• Change machine filters, clean and degrease machines.
• Perform outdoor landscape duties.
• Paint walls, shelves, and work areas.
• Conduct various demolitions using assorted tools.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Strong attention to detail; organized and task‑oriented.
• Mechanically inclined with experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate forklifts and aerial lifts.
• Valid driver’s license with a clear record for 5 years.
• Stamina and strength to perform manual labor.
• Excellent hand‑eye coordination.
• Mechanical aptitude with a desire to learn.

Schedule

Full‑time, 6 am–3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
