General Maintenance

About the Role

Westminster Manor is seeking a full-time General Maintenance professional to maintain the exterior and interior physical conditions of the building and facility grounds in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This role includes remodeling vacated apartments and assisting the Director of Maintenance with day-to-day repairs and upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Complete housekeeping duties, repairs, and special work orders.
• Redecorate vacated apartments to restore them to a "like-new" appearance and condition as quickly as possible for re-rental.
• Identify and report hazards and potential maintenance problems to management if not immediately correctable.
• Assist the Director of Maintenance with work orders and maintain buildings and grounds in a clean, neat, and fully functional condition.
• Support the housekeeper/janitor as needed to ensure the facility maintains the best possible appearance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum of three years of extensive experience with building repairs and maintenance, including painting.
• Six to twelve months of related experience and/or training.
