About The Role
Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer to support the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of resort facilities, equipment, and guest areas. This role plays a vital behind-the-scenes part in delivering a seamless luxury experience by responding to maintenance requests, performing repairs, and ensuring all building systems operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with strong technical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs
- Handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
- Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner
Requirements
- 3 months to 1 year of experience in Engineering and/or General Maintenance
- Working knowledge of general building maintenance systems, equipment, and repair practices
- Technical knowledge acquired through on-the-job training, trade school, vocational programs, or professional certifications
- Ability to use computers and smartphones for work orders and maintenance tracking system
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Schedule
- Full Time
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Primary shift is typically Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with additional schedule flexibility required to support operational needs
