About the role
A successful Midwestern law firm is seeking an Attorney to handle defending and litigating general liability claims in our St. Louis, Missouri office.
Responsibilities
- Litigating cases through all phases on behalf of employers and insurers
- Management of individual caseload
- Drafting pleadings and conducting legal research as needed
- Negotiations for settlement
- Attending hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations and other proceedings
Qualifications
- J.D. and license in Illinois or Missouri required
- Both Illinois and Missouri licenses preferred
- Experience defending workers’ compensation or general liability claims
