The law firm seeks an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney for their offices in Worcester, MA, Hartford, CT, or Boston, MA.

About the role

A well-established and highly respected insurance defense and civil litigation firm with a strong footprint throughout the Northeast is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2–7 years of experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate looking to gain meaningful courtroom and deposition experience while handling a sophisticated and varied litigation caseload.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied litigation caseload including: Construction losses, Liquor liability, Premises liability, Trucking accidents, Product liability matters
• Gain meaningful courtroom and deposition experience
• Participate in trial preparation and assist with trial strategy
• Take and defend depositions
• Work directly with experts
• Attend site inspections
• Draft, argue, and respond to motions

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of litigation experience
• Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and/or Connecticut
• Strong academic credentials
• Experience in insurance defense, general liability, product liability, construction litigation, or related civil litigation preferred
