The law firm seeks an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney for their offices in Worcester, MA, Hartford, CT, or Boston, MA.
About the Role
A well-established and highly respected insurance defense and civil litigation firm with a strong footprint throughout the Northeast is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2–7 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Handle a varied litigation caseload including: Construction losses, Liquor liability, Premises liability, Trucking accidents, Product liability matters
- Gain meaningful courtroom and deposition experience
- Participate in trial preparation and assist with trial strategy
- Take and defend depositions
- Work directly with experts
- Attend site inspections
- Draft, argue, and respond to motions
Qualifications
- 2–7 years of litigation experience
- Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and/or Connecticut
- Strong academic credentials
- Experience in insurance defense, general liability, product liability, construction litigation, or related civil litigation preferred
