Responsibilities

  • Support legal entities within Bruker US, coordinating with other functional areas to ensure daily operations meet compliance and operational guidelines.
  • Coordinate with divisional business partners, corporate, technical accounting teams, and Internal Controls, assisting with quarterly and annual audits.
  • Complete and review monthly and quarterly financial statements, supplementals, and reconciliations within the control framework.
  • Maintain active communication with key stakeholders and leaders.
  • Create and record journal entries with supporting documents for US entities, including cash, inventory, reserves, intercompany transactions, assets, accruals, liabilities, and equity.
  • Support team members through cross-entity transactions.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple accounting activities to meet close, reporting, and compliance deadlines.
  • Collaborate with team members to balance workloads and achieve departmental deadlines.
  • Perform reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts for accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Review, analyze, and report US GAAP financials and supplemental reporting for submission to the controlling team.
  • Perform post-closing activities, both system and process-oriented.
  • Assist with meeting internal control framework requirements.
  • Participate in Finance projects as directed.
  • Build and maintain business relationships, ensuring responsiveness to deadlines, deliverables, and operational requirements.
  • Communicate effectively across Finance and Business Teams, escalating issues as needed.
  • Improve efficiency of the close process while achieving desired results.
  • Achieve personal and team goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting required.
  • Minimum 3 years of recent General Ledger work experience required.
  • Proven knowledge of US accounting and audit regulations with integrity in the application of standards.
  • Work experience within a publicly traded manufacturing company.
  • Advanced proficiency with SAP (Hana), QuickBooks, MS Office Suite including Excel expertise is strongly desired; ERP experience required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, computer, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills, including fluent oral and written English.
  • Strong business acumen, analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills for effective workload prioritization and time management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a complex, fast-paced global work environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to balance workloads and meet departmental deadlines.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Receptive to change and learning, maintaining an open approach.
  • High standard of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Ability to complete position training and compliance requirements.
  • Reliable transportation and valid Driver License in good standing required.
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
  • May be required to pass security clearance investigation.

Pay

The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $64,800 and $113,500. The base salary will depend on job-related factors including education, training, experience, geographic location, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge, and travel requirements. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive and a full range of benefits.
