General Laborer / Helper
About the role
Loenbro is a trusted construction lifecycle partner serving thousands of customers across the U.S. They offer services in Critical Electrical, Mechanical & Structural, Soft Crafts, Inspection, Underground Maintenance and Installation, and Fabrication. The role involves assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact soil.
- Absorb and install construction materials like pipes, concrete, and steel.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
Requirements
- GED or High School Diploma.
- Ability to work from ladders and scaffolds.
- Lift and carry objects and materials of various weights.
Preferred
- Skilled in math, including adding and subtracting fractions.
- Able to pass preliminary and periodic drug testing.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures, manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environments, fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels, limited working surfaces, exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors, exposure to areas with limited visibility. Compliance with safety regulations, PPE requirements, and Loenbro’s EH&S policies is required.
