General Laborer - Foundry
Responsibilities
- Assist with general production, material handling, and shop floor support activities
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials, parts, and finished products
- Perform basic cleaning, housekeeping, and organization of work areas
- Support machine operators and production personnel with setup, teardown, and routine tasks
- Conduct visual inspections of materials and finished products to ensure quality standards
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and work instructions
- Report on safety concerns, equipment issues, or quality problems to supervisors
- Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- Prior manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and industrial equipment
Work Schedule
Night Shift: 4PM - 4AM
Will need to start on day shift for training: 4AM-4PM until ready to shift to nights

About the Role
The General Laborer - Casting Crew, Melter, and Blast Booth supports daily manufacturing and production operations by performing a variety of manual and operational tasks. This role plays a key part in maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized work environment while assisting skilled operators and production teams as needed.
Location
This role is located in South Gate, CA and will be fully on-site.
