General Laborer/ Fabrication
About the role
PACE Supply’s Fire Protection Division is seeking motivated individuals to join our Fabrication Shop. This role offers opportunities to develop hands-on skills in a dynamic and high-demand industry.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and prepare pipes for bundling, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Fabricate and repair simple components with precision and attention to detail.
- Willingness to be trained to set up, maintain, and run machinery.
- Maintain an understanding of operating procedures for assigned machines.
- Report any safety hazards within the work environment promptly.
- Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe workplace.
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Load and unload products with attention to safety protocols.
- Lift objects weighing up to 50lbs regularly, and collaborate in team lifts when required.
- Read and interpret paperwork, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Utilize a tape measure and basic hand tools with proficiency.
- Perform tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling components.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Show strong attention to detail and produce high-quality work.
- Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
- Basic mathematical knowledge.
- Steel-toed boots and appropriate safety gear.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledgeable reading a tape measure and using basic hand tools.
- Flexibility to work overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed.

Pay
Individual total compensation for this position will be determined at the Company's sole discretion and may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to, location, skill level, years and depth of relevant experience, qualifications, and other business considerations.
Schedule
Shift Schedules: Day Shift 500 AM - 530 PM including daily overtime (12 hours daily)
