Foundry Laborer

Responsibilities

• Duties include but not limited to the following:
• Banding ingot per customer specification
• Operating the ingot casting robot
• Driving a fork lift and transferring ingot to the banding pad
• Affixing labels to ingots
• Assist in maintaining furnace pump wells and bag house maintenance

Qualifications

• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• The ability to read and write
• The ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Accuracy in recording of weights
• Accurately weigh ingots
• Demonstrate safe work practices throughout the plant
• The ability to operate an industrial tow motor and forklift
• A high school diploma or equivalent GED preferred
