General Laborer - Fabrication Secondary Ops

About the role

We are seeking a General Laborer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting fabrication operations. Performs secondary operations following laser cutting to meet final specifications. Ensures parts meet print requirements, quality standards, and are ready for assembly. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to our production goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure output and product meet quality standards and report any issues to the Supervisor and Quality Manager
• Support fabrication operations by preparing raw materials and ensuring proper setup
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Participate and support 5S activities and Kaizen events
• Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred
• Mechanical knowledge or experience working with hand tools and power tools is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety standards
• Excellent attendance
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Due to the nature of our industry we test for Marijuana and applicants must test negative

Pay

The pay range for this role is $19 to $22 per hour and is based on experience.

Schedule

This is a first shift role Monday through Thursday with overtime based on business needs.
