About the role
Penn United Technologies is seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join our Production Manufacturing team in a full-time, entry-level Secondary Operations role.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate parts cleaning equipment
- Clean, inspect, sort, and package precision parts
- Work with area coordinators and management to help meet customer delivery schedules
- Absorb and follow all quality procedures, work instructions, and safety policies
- Safely handle chemicals used in the parts cleaning process
- Support other manufacturing activities as needed to help the team achieve production goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and excellent visual inspection skills
- Good finger dexterity for handling and packaging small precision parts
- Ability to work quickly and accurately while meeting production goals
- Ability to understand and follow written procedures
- High level of focus and concentration
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work rotating shifts, primarily daylight and afternoon shifts
- Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
