General Laborer - Austin Commercial

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety policies and procedures
• Clean and prepare construction sites
• Load or unload building materials to be used in construction
• Build or take apart bracing, scaffolding, and temporary structures
• Dig trenches, backfill holes, or compact earth to prepare for construction

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk or hear
• Frequent sitting, bending, standing, walking, or squatting
• Frequent use of hands and arms to finger, feel, reach for, handle, and/or manipulate objects
• Sometimes lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds
• Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles and vibration
• Frequent exposure to concrete and various concrete mixtures, curing compounds, acids, chemicals, brick cleaning solutions, fuel vapors, dust, paints, varnishes, and other industrial chemicals
• Frequent exposure to noise levels in the work environment and job sites
