General Laborer (50796)

Location: Parsons, Tennessee

Responsibilities

• Clean components with solvent and hand tools
• Repair minor voids
• Inspect product to ensure it meets quality, engineering, and customer requirements
• Operate hand tools, including electrical and pneumatic powered tools
• Load, unload, lift, and move materials and product using lifting equipment when available
• Complete and maintain all associated electronic process paperwork (checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, shipping/receiving documentation)
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards
• Perform duties in accordance with the Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Manitowoc Code of Conduct
• Actively participate in safety training and address safety issues promptly

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading comprehension skills
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Proficiency in reading, speaking, and understanding English
• Demonstrated safe and effective operation of required material‑handling equipment
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete for the entire workday
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Lift and carry up to 50 lb alone and over 50 lb with assistance
• Ability to climb and maintain balance
• Manual dexterity for tool usage and handling
• Capability to work in a non‑temperature‑controlled environment
• Ability to visually inspect products
• Willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment
