About the role
CompTech is seeking a General Clerk II – Records Management to provide administrative and technical support for EPA records and docket management activities, records centers, and information services. The ideal candidate will have prior records management experience, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to accurately maintain, process, track, and retrieve records in accordance with established procedures and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support the administration, maintenance, organization, and retrieval of records and docket management information.
- Provide day-to-day technical and administrative support to records management programs, dockets, records centers, and other information services.
- Assist with the receipt, processing, organization, filing, tracking, retrieval, and disposition of records.
- Support the effective use of automated information and records management systems.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure information is properly categorized, documented, and accessible.
- Perform data entry and update electronic records and tracking systems as required.
- Review records and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established requirements.
- Assist with records searches, retrieval requests, and other information requests.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files in accordance with established records management procedures.
- Follow applicable EPA records management policies, procedures, standards, and requirements.
- Provide general clerical and administrative support related to records and information management activities.
- Work under the supervision and direction of a Records/Information Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year of records management experience.
- Experience organizing, maintaining, filing, tracking, or retrieving records and documentation.
- Ability to accurately perform data entry and maintain electronic and/or physical records.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and records management requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Basic proficiency with computers, electronic information systems, and standard office software.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust determination.
Pay
$21.22/hour plus $5.09/hour Health & Welfare (H&W), totaling $26.31/hour.
