About the role

Multicare’s Pulse Heart Institute is a physician-led institute with multi-specialty partnerships in Cardiothoracic surgery, vascular, and cardiovascular service lines. Our team and state-of-the-art programs create a world-class healthcare organization and the destination center for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care with complex structural heart disease and interventions, advanced heart failure services, and advanced imaging with cutting-edge technologies. We are building a new team of APPs dedicated to inpatient care.

Responsibilities

  • Treating general cardiology patients - new consults, pre-op, and post-op.
  • Working within a physician-led cardiovascular institute.
  • Utilizing outstanding facilities and comprehensive resources.
  • Collaborating with talented teammates committed to quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Masters of Science in Nursing Post Bachelor’s Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Licensed in the state of WA as an ARNP by the time of employment.
  • Successfully completed a Certified Nurse Practitioner Exam through an accredited organization.
  • DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority.
  • Current BLS & ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience as an ARNP in cardiology services preferred or ARNP with previous RN experience in cardiology.
  • Acute Care Management of General Cardiology Patients.

Pay and Benefits Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits and paid time off. The pay scale is $124,831.00 - $166,995.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
