As a Part-Time Cardiology Nurse Practitioner at CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas - Cardiology and Medicine Clinic, you will join CHI St. Vincent Medical Group in Little Rock, providing essential support to our cardiology service line and contributing to excellent patient care and outcomes.

• Monitor patient care post catheterization and angioplasty, assessing patient status, managing complications, and ensuring a smooth recovery.
• Care for patients before and after procedures, including educating them about the process, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Coordinate discharge instructions, medications, and follow-up appointments.
• Prepare patients for procedures by educating them about the process, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Monitor care plans, ensuring adherence to established protocols and collaborating with the cardiology team to adjust plans as needed.
• Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families regarding their heart condition, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
• Aid with other cardiology-related tasks as needed.

Job Requirements

• Required:
• Certified Nurse Practitioner active or eligible license in the state of Arkansas
• Acute care certification required
• DEA license (or eligible to obtain)
• BLS
• ACLS
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiovascular disease
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to adapt to a flexible part-time schedule including travel to satellite clinics twice per month
