About the role

Multicare’s Pulse Heart Institute is a physician-led institute with multi-specialty partnerships in Cardiothoracic surgery, vascular, and cardiovascular service lines. Our team and state-of-the-art programs create a world-class healthcare organization and the destination center for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care with complex structural heart disease and interventions, advanced heart failure services, and advanced imaging with cutting-edge technologies. This position is an inpatient and outpatient position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide acute care management of general cardiology patients
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Perform procedures and treatments as directed by physicians
  • Participate in research activities and contribute to clinical trials
  • Support the innovation lab by developing cutting-edge healthcare solutions
  • Offer mental health services and wellness coaching to patients

Requirements

  • Masters of Science in Nursing Post Bachelor’s Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Licensed in the state of WA as an ARNP by the time of employment
  • Successfully completed a Certified Nurse Practitioner Exam through an accredited organization
  • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS & ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience as an ARNP in cardiology services preferred or ARNP with previous RN experience in cardiology

Qualifications

  • Experience in acute care management of general cardiology patients
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular diseases and their management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay scale is $124,831.00 - $166,995.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
