About the role

The Cardiovascular Institute at OSF Healthcare is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their team in Bloomington, IL. This position will work alongside 4 general cardiologists, 4 interventional cardiologists, and 3 APPs in a newly constructed clinic building at St. Joseph Medical Center.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care.
  • Participate in the surgical backup and manage a strong primary care referral base.
  • Specialize in subspecialties including intensivists, CV surgery, neurosurgery, and a hospitalist team.
  • Contribute to cardiac imaging services and utilize Epic EMR.
  • Work closely with 17 area hospitals and 9 clinics within the OSF Cardiovascular Service Line.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree in medicine.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Illinois.
  • Board certified or board eligible in non-invasive cardiology.
  • Medical staff membership and appropriate privileges at OSF Healthcare.
  • Eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
  • Eligible for professional malpractice and liability coverage through OSF Healthcare.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

Pay

Full-time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $530,000 - $582,882. The range is subject to change based on various factors including the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Call 1:4 schedule provided.
