General Cardiologist
Location: Jacksonville, FL – Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside
About the role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of 34 physicians and 25 APPs.
- Call structure: Night Call Rotation
- Practice setting: inpatient/outpatient
- Access to diversified procedural cardiologists & cardiothoracic surgeons | robotic thoracic capabilities
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
Deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of cardiac conditions. Join a comprehensive cardiovascular program offering the full spectrum of care, including interventional cardiology, peripheral/vascular services, and electrophysiology within a highly integrated, team-based environment. Be part of a nationally recognized structural heart program with leading regional volumes in TAVR, TMVR, Watchman, and MitraClip. Work alongside one of the largest electrophysiology practices in the region, delivering the highest atrial fibrillation ablation volumes.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
- Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
