About the role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated general cardiologist to join an established, but growing practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
- Join a team of 10 physicians and 14 APPs
- Practice setting: mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Champion the care team experience for loved ones

This job location is currently in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) and/or Medically Underserved Area/Population (MUA/P).
Schedule
Full-Time; Monday through Friday (with occasional weekend rounding)

Sacred Heart Hospital was founded by the Daughters of Charity in 1915. Requirements
- Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine (obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date)
- Board eligibility/certification in Cardiology required
- Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
