General Cardiologist

Location: Brunswick, GA (Coastal South Georgia near St. Simons Island) | Facility: Ascension St. Vincent's Coastal Cardiology

About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of 34 Cardiologists and 25 APPs in a comprehensive cardiovascular program offering the full spectrum of care, including interventional cardiology, peripheral/vascular services, and electrophysiology within a highly integrated, team-based environment.

• Call structure: Night Call Rotation
• Practice setting: inpatient/outpatient
• Access to diversified procedural cardiologists & cardiothoracic surgeons | robotic thoracic capabilities
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Be part of a nationally recognized structural heart program with leading regional volumes in TAVR, TMVR, Watchman, and MitraClip
• Work alongside one of the largest electrophysiology practices in the region, delivering the highest atrial fibrillation ablation volumes

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of cardiac conditions

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
• Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
