General Cardiologist
About the role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Cardiologist to join a high-volume, employed practice with a robust internal referral base and the comprehensive diagnostic resources of the Ascension Saint Agnes cardiovascular network. Join an established team of 8 physicians and 7 APPs. Call structure: 1 week every 4-6 weeks. Practice setting: Outpatient and inpatient. Employed position within a nonprofit health system. Lead comprehensive patient care journeys by balancing a dedicated outpatient practice with essential inpatient rounds to ensure continuity of care from the clinic to the bedside. Deliver life-saving diagnostic insights through the expert performance and interpretation of TTE, TEE, and nuclear stress tests to guide precise treatment plans.
Responsibilities

- Lead comprehensive patient care journeys by balancing a dedicated outpatient practice with essential inpatient rounds to ensure continuity of care from the clinic to the bedside.
- Perform and interpret TTE, TEE, and nuclear stress tests.
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
- Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease preferred.
Skills
- Expertise in performing and interpreting TTE, TEE, and nuclear stress tests.
- Ability to balance outpatient and inpatient care effectively.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.

Pay
$420,901 – $688,500 per year
