General Business Counselor

About the role

The General Business Counselor delivers business counseling, management training, research, and technical assistance to pre-venture clients, small and mid-sized business owners, and entrepreneurs developing new products or technologies, starting new ventures, or growing existing businesses.

Responsibilities

• Provide business counseling and management training to clients
• Conduct research and offer technical assistance to entrepreneurs and business owners
• Manage confidential client records
• Enter client information into the appropriate database in a timely manner
• Prepare quarterly activity reports
• Develop resources and relationships that support the mission of the SBTDC
