General Anesthesiologist, Clinical Assistant Professor (HS) (Hourly/Per Diem)
Job Summary
The Department of Anesthesiology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an hourly/per diem General Anesthesiologist. The successful candidate will:
- Administer anesthesia to all patients through anesthetic techniques (general, regional, & sedation) in general operating room ambulatory setting and obstetrical suite.
- Participate in clinical operating room supervision for residents and medical students as required by the department.
- Mentor residents and medical students in the operating room.
- Perform on-call assignments as required by the department, to include clinical service in general operating room, OB, and ambulatory coverage.
- Perform call commitment, as needed and/or required.
