GDOT Sr. ServiceNow Developer (Georgia)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including customizations and integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements.
• Customize and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the ServiceNow platform.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and user guides.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growth.
• Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow features and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and development best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and actively participate in design discussions.
• Perform Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management configurations to improve IT operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow APIs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong understanding of ITSM and ITOM processes, including workflows and automation.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules including: ITSM (IT Service Management), CSM (Customer Service Management / PSDS), HAM (Hardware Asset Management).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for project delivery.
• Relevant ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
