Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow applications, workflows, and custom solutions.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow integrations using APIs and other integration technologies.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Customize ServiceNow modules, applications, workflows, business rules, scripts, and UI components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow platform issues and performance challenges.
  • Configure and support ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM capabilities, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
  • Develop technical documentation, including system designs, configurations, and user guides.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and security policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, administrators, and development teams on solution design.
  • Mentor junior ServiceNow developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow platform customization, configuration, and application development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow APIs and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and workflows.
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules including: ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management), Customer Service Management (CSM/PSDS), Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
  • Experience with workflow automation and platform optimization.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Skills

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications.
  • Experience with ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules including: Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management.
  • Experience designing enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow platform upgrades, performance optimization, and best practices.
  • Experience mentoring junior developers or leading technical initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
