Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow applications, workflows, and custom solutions.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow integrations using APIs and other integration technologies.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Customize ServiceNow modules, applications, workflows, business rules, scripts, and UI components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow platform issues and performance challenges.
- Configure and support ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM capabilities, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Develop technical documentation, including system designs, configurations, and user guides.
- Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and security policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, administrators, and development teams on solution design.
- Mentor junior ServiceNow developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow platform customization, configuration, and application development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Experience working with ServiceNow APIs and integrations.
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and workflows.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules including: ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management), Customer Service Management (CSM/PSDS), Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
- Experience with workflow automation and platform optimization.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Preferred Skills
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications.
- Experience with ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
- Experience with ServiceNow modules including: Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management.
- Experience designing enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow platform upgrades, performance optimization, and best practices.
- Experience mentoring junior developers or leading technical initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
