About the role

The role involves supporting the implementation and enhancement of the Department of Labor's UISIm project, which aims to redesign, implement, and test business process improvements for the department's customers, partners, and internal staff.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud-based systems in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) according to security, performance, availability, and cost-management requirements.
• Implement, automate, and administer GCP cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, automation with Python or PowerShell, GKE cluster, pod, and service administration, Linux and Windows server administration, and configuration and administration of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC/XPN, Cloud SQL, Redis, Secret Manager, CDN, load balancing, Cloud Armor, Logging, Monitoring, Alerting, and Pub/Sub.
• Use CI/CD pipeline technologies including GitHub repository.
• Use Prisma Cloud and Tenable for security assessments and compliance.

Requirements

• 84 months of experience designing, developing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-based systems in GCP.
• 84 months of experience implementing, automating, and administering GCP cloud infrastructure.
• 36 Months of experience using CI/CD pipeline technologies.
• 36 Months of experience using GitHub repository.
• 24 Months of experience using Prisma Cloud, Tenable, OS Patching/upgrading.

Qualifications

Must have a valid US work authorization.
