Responsibilities

  • Create and analyze financial models
  • Help manage transaction processes
  • Assist in structuring transactions
  • Develop financial models
  • Perform customized company valuation analysis
  • Actively participate in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and fixed income and equity issuances
  • Organize and prepare presentations
  • Explain industry trends
  • Assess clients' situations to provide financial advice
  • Recommend strategies to meet client goals
  • Cook up and lead deal teams of analysts and associates
  • Coordinate teams of tax advisors, auditors, attorneys, and bankers for various transactions
  • Lead due diligence processes
  • Participate in the negotiations of legal documentation
  • Preparations of internal committee presentations
  • Prepare for funding
  • Qualifications

    • Master’s Degree and several years of Natural Resources investment banking experience
    • OR Bachelor’s degree and seven years or more of Natural Resources investment banking or equivalent experience
    • Strong track record of executing M&A and financing transactions in an investment banking advisory role
    • Two plus years experience in leading deal teams of analysts and associates
    • History of outstanding academic and professional achievement

    Pay

    The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$300000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
