About the role
Vice president and associates in PSI gain exposure to the firm’s businesses and expanded knowledge of the investment banking industry. In this role, individuals will be deeply involved in the modeling, document review, solution generating, and client coverage of an important municipal client base. Furthermore, given the cross divisional aspect of these deals, individuals will have the opportunity to work with colleagues in commodities, credit sales and trading, investment grade underwriting, and coverage of multiple industries.
Responsibilities
- Assist in structuring, executing, and leading municipal commodity prepayment transactions
- Collaborate across different financial verticals to benefit municipalities
- Deeply involved in the modeling, document review, solution generating, and client coverage of an important municipal client base
- Work with colleagues in commodities, credit sales and trading, investment grade underwriting, and coverage of multiple industries
Requirements
Strong academic record with Bachelor’s level, equivalent or above required
At least two years experience in financial services (preferably in the public sector)
Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent stakeholder/client relationship management experience
Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities
Strong analytical background with experience working with large and complex data sets
Strong communication (verbal and written), multi-tasking and time management skills
Must be a collaborative team player
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include experience with client coverage and execution of municipal or project finance transactions
- Experience with debt structuring and capital markets execution
Skills

Benefits
The expected base salary for this San Francisco, California, United States-based position is $150,000-$300,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
