About the role
The PSI Sports Group at Capital Solutions Group within Global Banking & Markets Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs is seeking Vice Presidents to lead deal execution and advisory processes. This role involves structuring, executing, and leading municipal commodity prepayment transactions, as well as sports facility financings.
Responsibilities
- Lead deal execution, including bond and credit structuring analysis, strategy development, and presentation preparation for rating agencies.
- Assess credit enhancement structures and review legal and other offering documents.
- Organize and prepare presentations to explain industry trends, discuss client options, and recommend strategies to meet client goals.
- Participate in and conduct due diligence sessions.
- Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Drive analytic processes and lead banking and advisory teams.
Requirements
- Significant (more than 4 years) experience in project finance and/or the sports sector, ideally with investment banking, financial services, or accounting experience.
- Experience in conducting business, financial, and legal due-diligence; preparing marketing materials, RFPs, and structuring transactions.
- Drive, enthusiasm, creativity, and excellent stakeholder/client relationship management experience.
- Strong analytical background with experience working with large and complex data sets.
- Strong communication (verbal and written), multi-tasking, and time management skills.
- Collaborative team player with experience in debt structuring and capital markets execution.
- Experience with client coverage and execution of M&A or other advisory transactions.
- Exposure to corporate finance and valuation analyses including DCF, LBO, merger consequences, WACC etc.

- Strong academic record with a Bachelor’s level, equivalent or above required.

Pay
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150,000-$300,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
