About the Role

The Guardhouse Attendant monitors shipping/receiving access control and ensures the safety of all Ben E. Keith personnel to maintain a secure work environment.

Responsibilities

• Review all relevant logs and documentation to ensure daily activities are completed in a timely manner.
• Communicate with all relevant personnel to fulfill duties accurately and efficiently.
• Support appropriate security procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all BEK personnel.
• Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Knowledge of safety rules and ability to follow them.
• Proficient use of PC and Microsoft applications.
• Ability to learn and use internal software applications as needed.
• Solid interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.

Schedule

• Thursday–Friday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Saturday–Sunday: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM
