Gate Monitor
About the role
The Gate Monitor position at McKinley is located in Taylor, MI. The role involves regulating vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the apartment community entrance and monitoring gated apartment communities for unauthorized or unlawful entry.
Responsibilities
- Aiding in the proper operation of the gate and checking for necessary repairs.
- Sounding alarms or contacting emergency services via phone in case of fire or suspicious activity.
- Allowing authorized individuals access to the property.
- Contacting other gate monitors at other properties if necessary.
- Warning violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden items.
- Contacting authorities or backup in cases of criminal or suspicious activities.
Requirements
- Available Monday-Sunday from late afternoon to early morning (4:45 PM - 2:45 AM).
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK HOLIDAYS.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three months of related experience or training.
