Gastroenterologist Physician

Job Summary

Abrazo Medical Group, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking a Gastroenterologist to help rebuild and expand GI access in Phoenix's rapidly growing West Valley. This is a fully employed opportunity with established referral infrastructure already in place.

Position Highlights

• 100% outpatient gastroenterology — no hospital call
• Full-time employed position with Abrazo Medical Group / Tenet Healthcare
• Balanced weekly structure: 2 clinic days + 2–3 procedure days
• Procedures include EGD, colonoscopy, and advanced endoscopy (if desired — not required)
• Procedures performed at a nearby Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and Abrazo West Campus
• Phone-based practice call only — no in-house or overnight hospital obligations
• High unmet demand with immediate referral volume; step into a full schedule quickly
• Clinical collaboration and support from an established sister GI clinic in Gilbert (4 physicians, 5 APPs)

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Endoscopy trained
• Active Arizona medical license or ability to obtain
