Gastroenterologist Physician
Position Highlights
- Specialty: Gastroenterology (BE/BC)
- Call Schedule: Limited practice call; 5 days/month ED call
- Patient Volume: Approximately 30 patients per day
- Practice Mix: Primarily outpatient with some inpatient coverage
- APP Support: Advanced practice provider support on-site
- Facility: Free-standing practice with an attached ambulatory surgery center (ASC)
- Billing & Admin: In-house billing, coding, and collections — no burden on the physician
- Hospital Support: Full support from two local Saint Francis hospitals
- Excellent base compensation with production bonus

Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education to maintain certification and stay current with medical advancements
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to advanced practice providers and other staff members
- Contribute to the growth and success of the practice through active participation in community outreach and educational initiatives
Requirements
- Board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology
- MD or DO degree
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Tennessee
- Experience in gastroenterology preferred
